Primus Jacobs (1760-1834) first wife was a Futch woman whose family immigrated from Palatine Germany to New Bern NC.  

Census records and Pender County Jacobs oral history show her as a white woman.  Primus was called to court to explain why James Futch (probably her son) should not be indentured.  Pender and Bladen/Brunswick/Columbus County Jacobs DNA match current Futchs across the U.S.

Online trees incorrectly show Anna Hammonds -- Primus second wife, married 1826 -- as the mother of his children.
